FLEMINGTON BOROUGH SEWER PAYMENT POLICY ADOPTED 12/13/18

Please be advised, the Flemington Borough sewer bills are distributed during the first weeks of January, April, July and October. If you do not receive your sewer bill within the first week of those months, it is YOUR responsibility to contact the office to obtain your balance due PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE. Therefore, if your bill is not paid by the due date (typically the last day of the billing month stated above), a late fee WILL be added and will not be reversed. Again, if you do not receive your bill, please contact the borough office for your outstanding balance. If you mail your payment and it is lost in transit and therefore late, a late penalty WILL be reflected on your bill and cannot be reversed. In addition, if you mail or your bank mails your payment, it must be postmarked BY THE DUE DATE to avoid penalties. Thank you.

FLEMINGTON RESIDENTS: While the secretary is in the office, payments shall be made through the office door slot. Residents may contact the Secretary by phone at 570-748-7488 or email at office@flemingtonboroughpa.org during regular office hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sewer payments in the form of cash, check or money order can be mailed to or dropped in the mail slot at 126 High Street, Ste. 1, Flemington, PA 17745 or online at flemingtonboroughpa.org. If you need to enter the Borough Office for any reason, please call and schedule an appointment. Thank you.

Smoke Detectors

Flemington Goodwill Hose Fire Company is currently out of smoke detectors.  Once their stock is replenished, we will post it here for you.  If you need a smoke detector, you may call Tony Mahon at 814-482-1387 or 570-893-8001.

ATTENTION “NEIGHBORS”!

If you’re interested in being involved in your community, please consider joining the “Hi Neighbor” Committee.  The Committee organizes events for Flemington residents such as parades, Easter egg hunts, festivals, etc.  If interested, please contact the borough office at 748-7488.  :) 

Meetings:

Legislative Meetings: 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7:00 p.m.; Work Session (ONLY AS NEEDED) – Monday preceding the 1st Legislative Meeting at 7:00 p.m.  There will be no 2nd meeting in November & December due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
